Amateur takes photos from space

The astonishing photos below were incredibly taken by an amateur photographer using some kit he knocked together for just £500.

Mr Harrison, from England, has attracted the attention of NASA after they saw the photos, which were taken by a regular camera attached to a helim weather balloon about 35km (21miles) above the Earth.

Space Shuttle Endeavour photographed

This photo from Nasa shows the space shuttle Endeavour. It was taken by an Expedition 22 crew member on board the international space station, as the shuttle approached for docking.
